When It Rains, Let It Brainstorm

It’s 11:15pm…do you know where your mind is?

Of course, it’s massaged within the membranes of your cranium. Figuratively, it’s drifting away on a sailboat, stationary over seas until morning breaks; then it sets sails again to embark on a continuous journey.

Currently, my boat is on the verge of hauling at the dock yet filled with enough cargo (ideas or thoughts) on what to export (type) for your economical wealth (knowledge).

Well, I brainstormed on a lot of things this week by which varies from taking our surroundings for granted to the comparative notion of settling for mediocrity rather than pushing oneself to the apex of limitations. I also thought about giving away a sample poem, but that is always expected and far too repetitive.

My sailboat drifted towards undiscovered parts of “my” ocean to discover – nothingness and substance.

Now I’m speaking philosophically; what does that mean?

Seemingly, this contradiction doesn’t make sense, but with its entelechy, it holds truth. Considering that our mind’s travel over the buoyant vastness, we explore open air with clear skies and minimal cloud cover, only to produce a (b)rainstorm.

(B)rainstorm of ideas than spawn into fruition. The more it evolves, the grander the downpour. Hence, our minds act and react on the discovery.

In relation to writing, when it doesn’t rain, there is no ink that will drain all of the runoff into something creative on paper. Simple as that! So, no matter the weather, let it rain until the ocean can’t take anymore. Then, filter it into something that lasts: Written Art!

I will!

Until Next Time
