Poetry In Motion: THe Fruit Of Life

“The Fruit Of Life”

Strange,

How I am offered a basket of apples

Fresh and juicy for a long time

A few rotten at the present

The rest remain ripe

To add savory to my delight

If I had a bunch of grapes from the start,

I would dine in fine wine

The fruits that fall from the tree can be a surprise

The sweeter the juice,

The deeper the roots

Variance of seed give birth to the fruits of my nature
